On activity of “Ramstore Kazakhstan” LLP.
Our subsidiary company “Ramstore Kazakhstan” LLP carries out its activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan and works in two areas: shopping center management and retail. As of the 1st half-year 2020, its share made up approximately 0.8% of consolidated sales of our Company. In furtherance of the growth of our Company and the strategy of focusing on the markets, in which we operate, we performed reevaluation of the retail operating activity of “Ramstore Kazakhstan” LLP. In view of this, we started negotiations on sales of one store and transfer of lease agreements for 6 stores operating in Kazakhstan, as well as equipment and stocks of these stores. Possible transfer/sales of these stores are subject to approval by relevant Competition Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan. “Ramstore Kazakhstan” LLP will continue its activity by managing “Ramstore All In” multifunctional complex in Samal microdistrict of Almaty, which accounts for the majority of the cost of our investments in the Republic of Kazakhstan. “Ramstore All In” multifunctional complex was reconstructed in 2017 and it is located in one the busiest places in Almaty, which is an attractive place for shopping and relaxation.
We believe that the above explanations are in line with the principles listed in the current communiqué of the Capital Markets Board on special cases, that hey fully reflect the information received by us on this subject / issues, that the information is in line with our accounting books, records and documents and that we take whatever action is appropriate to receive complete and accurate information on this issue, and we declare that we are responsible for these statements.
SERVICE CUP from 4Service Kazakhstan
Since 2018, Ramstore Kazakhstan supermarkets and shopping malls chain launched the Mystery Shopping program. To the date, Mystery Shoppers have already completed over 800 evaluations in 11 Ramstore supermarkets and 5 Ramstore Express format supermarkets in the cities of Almaty and Nur-Sultan.
The received reports allow us to analyze the general level of service and structure information for each unit. Based on the results of the analysis, recommendations are formed to improve the service. Important indicators are the Customer Loyalty Index – NPS and Emotional Index. The main indicator is the Total Service Index. To show the best results, teams of stores compete for the main challenge prize – the Service Cup – an instrument of non-material reward for employees for a customer-oriented approach to work. On a quarterly basis, 4Service Kazakhstan and Ramstore gather all directors at the presentation of a joint project report. Based on the results of the work, the best location is determined, and the Director of this supermarket is awarded.
Due to the regularity of such an audit, we are able to track changes in the context of the entire company and a specific store.
